Throttle Valve Switch
- Check operation of accelerator and control cables for smoothness. Valve stopper must make firm contact with throttle valve stopper screw when throttle valve is released.
- Unplug throttle valve switch harness at connector. Make continuity test across terminals with accelerator pedal depressed in steps. See Throttle Valve Switch Test table.
NOTE:
Air flow sensor circuit must be working properly for all throttle valve switch test results to be accurate.
