Closed Loop Emission System: Description

The Closed Loop Emission System (CLES) is designed to reduce vehicle exhaust emissions. The overall system consists of the following major sub-systems: Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR), Thermostatic Air Cleaner (TAC), Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV), Evaporative Emission Control System (EECS), Early Fuel Evaporation (EFE), and "Check Engine" light.
