Dropping Resistors

  1. Unplug dropping resistor wire connector. Resistor is located on firewall in engine compartment.
  2. Measure resistance between center terminal of resistor connector and other terminals. Standard resistance at all terminals should be 5-7 ohms at room temperature. If any measurment deviates from standard value, replace dropping resistor.
