Oil Pressure Switch Check

  1. Disconnect oil pressure switch connector. Oil pressure switch is located on lower rear center of engine, near oil filter.
  2. Using ohmmeter, measure resistance between oil pressure switch terminal and ground. Continuity should exist with engine off. Continuity should NOT exist when there is oil pressure (engine running). Replace oil pressure switch as necessary.
