Testing Brake Fluid Warning Indicator
- With ignition on and engine off, brake fluid warning indicator light should illuminate regardless of brake fluid condition and/or parking brake operation.
- Start engine and release parking brake. If light does not go off, check brake fluid level, brake fluid level sensor and parking brake release switch. Check for possible short in electrical harness. Repair or replace as necessary.
