All clutch assemblies are single disc type with a diaphragm spring pressure plate. All clutches are hydraulically operated, except pickup 2.3L which is cable operated. Vehicle clutches use a pull type pressure plate. On pull type clutches, the throw out bearing interlocks to the release lever and the clutch releases when diaphragm fingers are pulled out.
