Clutch System: Description

All clutch assemblies are single disc type with a diaphragm spring pressure plate. All clutches are hydraulically operated. 3.2L models use a pull-type pressure plate. On pull-type clutches, the throw out bearing interlocks to the release lever and the clutch releases when diaphragm fingers are pulled out. 2.6L models use conventional hydraulic clutch control systems. Some hydraulic clutch control systems use a hydraulic damper.
