Variation Test

Attach a tachometer to engine. Start engine and compare vehicle tachometer with test tachometer. Vehicle tachometer performance is acceptable if unit is within allowable range. See TACHOMETER VARIATION SPECIFICATIONS  . If tachometer performance is not within specifications, replace tachometer.
