Starter Relay Test

NOTE: Relay connector appearance may differ between individual vehicles. Test procedure remains the same.
  1. Locate and remove starter relay from vehicle. Connect battery between terminals "C" and "D". See Fig 1 . Ensure continuity exists between terminals "A" and "B".
  2. Disconnect battery from terminals "C" and "D". Continuity should no longer exist between terminals "A" and "B". Replace starter relay if it does not test as specified.
