Oil Pressure Light Switch

  1. Start engine. Disconnect oil pressure switch lead, and ground lead. Oil pressure warning light should come on. If warning light does not come on, repair open circuit.
  2. If warning light comes on, check continuity between oil pressure switch terminal and ground with engine at idle. Replace oil pressure switch if continuity does not exist.
