Wheel Sensor

The wheel sensor detects wheel rotational speed. Wheel sensor consists of a permanent magnet, coil and pulser (trigger wheel). As 50-tooth pulser (trigger wheel) rotates, the magnetic flux around the coil in each wheel sensor alternates, generating a voltage frequency proportional to wheel rotation speed. These pulses are sent to the ABS control unit to determine wheel speed.
