Stator Coil

  1. Using an ohmmeter, check continuity across stator coil leads. If continuity does not exist, replace stator coils. See OVERHAUL  .
  2. Measure resistance across stator coil, reading should be about .07 ohms at 68°F (20°C). If reading is not as specified, replace stator. See OVERHAUL  .
  3. Connect ohmmeter between stator core and each stator coil lead. If continuity exists, replace stator coil. See OVERHAUL  .
