THERMOTIME Switch Test: Notes

  1. To test thermotime switch, it is necessary to determine temperature rating of switch. The switch is rated at 59°F (15°C) or 95°F (35°C). The rating is stamped on flat part of switch body.
  2. After determining switch rating, coolant temperature must be measured. The test procedure to use depends on whether coolant temperature is above or below the rated value of switch.
