Abs Ecu

  1. Ensure ignition is off. Connect a voltmeter between ABS ECU connector terminals No. 1 and 53. Turn ignition on. If voltage is more than 10 volts, ABS ECU power supply is okay. If voltage is less than 10 volts, go to next step. If voltage is present and ABS ECU is not functioning, ABS ECU may be faulty.
  2. Check battery condition. Service battery as necessary. If battery condition is okay, check for continuity in White/Red wire between terminal No. 53 of ABS ECU connector and fuse No. 8. If continuity does not exist, repair open in White/Red wire.
  3. If continuity exists, check continuity of Black wire between terminal No. 1 of ABS ECU connector and ground. If continuity does not exist, repair open Black wire.
