Anti-Lock Control

  1. Verify the customer concern by operating the system.
  2. Visually inspect for obvious signs of mechanical or electrical damage.
  3. If an obvious cause for an observed or reported concern is found, correct the cause (if possible) before proceeding to the next step.
  4. If the cause is not visually evident, verify the symptom and refer to the Jaguar approved diagnostic system to retrieve the DTCs.

  • Wheel speed sensor ring for any damage/contamination
  • Hydraulic control unit (with attached ABS module) condition and fitment
  • Fuses
  • Harnesses and connectors
  • Warning light operation
  • Wheel speed sensors
  • Dynamic stability control (DSC) switch
  • Stoplamp switch
  • ABS module
  • Controller area network (CAN) circuits
