Oxygen Sensor

The oxygen sensor is located in the exhaust manifold to measure oxygen content of exhaust gases. As more oxygen is sensed (lean mixture indication), electrical signal generated by sensor drops in voltage. A lower oxygen content (rich mixture indication) causes an increase in voltage signal output.
