Switch Voltage Test
- Turn ignition on. Remove switch from trim panel. Disconnect terminal block on wiring harness from switch body. Connect one lead of test lamp to Red wire terminal and other end to ground.
- If lamp lights, the wiring circuit between battery and switch is functional. Check continuity in Black wire (ground). If lamp does not light, check circuit breaker. If okay, check for for a broken wire.
