Typical MOTORCRAFT Ignition Oscilloscope Patterns

To analyze the Solid State (SSI) and Dura-Spark Ignition Systems using an oscilloscope, follow the procedures recommended by the manufacturer of the scope.

The electrical display patterns will appear similar to patterns of conventional breaker type ignition systems except as shown. See Fig 1.
