EGR Solenoid Test
- Verify that vacuum is present at vacuum fitting "C" of the EGR solenoid. See Fig 1 . Remove vacuum connector from "A" and "B". Connect a vacuum gauge to "B".
- Start and idle the engine. There should be no vacuum at "B". Disconnect electrical connector "D" from the solenoid. There should now be vacuum at "B".
