Subsystem Checks

The following systems and components must be in good condition before a proper diagnosis can be made on the fuel injection system:

• Air filter.
• All support systems and wiring.
• Battery connections and specific gravity.
• Engine compression.
• Electrical connections on components and sensors.
• Emission control devices.
• Ignition system.
• All vacuum lines, fuel hoses and pipe connections.
