VIN Code Location

The vehicle identification number (VIN) is stamped into a metal plate on left side at the base of the windshield or on the left side of the instrument panel. The code characters of the VIN identify and describe the vehicle. The letters "SSR" and number "0" identify vehicles built to special order.
