Instrument Panel: Description

Instrument panel is supplied voltage through the gauges fuse. A printed circuit on rear of instrument cluster distributes voltage to gauges and indicators. Voltmeter measures alternator output with engine running and battery voltage with ignition on, engine off. Brake indicator warns of parking brake engagement or unequal pressures in brake hydraulic system.

An Emission Maintenance Timer and Indicator Light activates when mileage reaches scheduled maintenance interval of 82,500 miles, or 2700 engine operating hours. Timer cannot be reset, only replaced. Instrument cluster will contain gauges or warning lights depending on vehicle model.
