The clutch assembly consists of a single dry-disc driven plate and a one-piece diaphragm spring-type clutch cover. Clutch disc diameter is 9.2" (235 mm) on 4-cylinder models; 10.5" (266 mm) on 6-cylinder models. The clutch is actuated through a hydraulic master cylinder and a hydraulic throw-out bearing, which contains a slave cylinder. Slave cylinder and hydraulic throw-out bearing must be replaced as a complete unit.
