Clearing Trouble Codes
CAUTION:
When battery is disconnected, vehicle computer and memory systems may lose memory data. Driveability problems may exist until computer systems have completed a relearn cycle. See COMPUTER RELEARN PROCEDURES

Trouble codes can be cleared by disconnecting negative battery cable for at least 15 seconds, allowing computer system to clear trouble codes. Trouble codes can also be cleared using DRB. See step 4) in ENTERING ON-BOARD DIAGNOSTICS under SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM.
