⁽²⁾	The Selec-Trac system can be identified by five positions on the transfer case shift lever; the Command-Trac has only four positions.

⁽³⁾	Differential can be identified by a tag fastened on the housing by a cover bolt. The Dana has a 7.6" ring gear and is identified on the tag as a RBI 194. The Chrysler has a 8.25" ring gear and has its assembly number on the tag.
