Fan, Cooling: Installation: Gas

Guide the cooling fan into position onto the radiator while clearing the upper radiator hose.
Once into position, insert the lower tabs into the retainers (3, 5).
Install the bolts (1). Tighten to 9 N.m (80 in. lbs.).

Install the upper radiator mounts (1). Tighten mounting bolts (2) to 9 N.m (80 in. lbs.).

Install the wire harness connector to the cooling fan module (2).
Install the upper cooling fan module wiring harness (2).

Install the transmission oil cooler. Tighten mounting bolts (2) to 8 N.m (70 in. lbs.).

Install the transmission cooler lines support brace bolt (1). Tighten to 8 N.m (70 in. lbs.).

Install the upper air deflector (1).
Install the hood release cable (3).
Install the wiring harness (7).
Connect the ambient air temperature sensor (5).

Connect the cooling fan wiring harness (1).
Install the engine cover and air intake assembly. Refer to RESONATOR, AIR CLEANER, INSTALLATION for 2.4L or RESONATOR, AIR CLEANER, INSTALLATION for 3.2L.
