Pump, Water: Installation: 2.4L

  1. Position the water pump (4) into position with a new gasket (8).
  2. Install the water pump bolts (3). Tighten the bolts to 24 N.m (18 ft. lbs.)
  3. Install the water pump pulley (2).
  4. Install the pulley bolts (1). Tighten the bolts to 9 N.m (80 in lbs.).
  5. Install the serpentine belt. Refer to BELT, SERPENTINE, INSTALLATION .
  6. Install the belly pan and closeout panel

    Refer to BELLY PAN, INSTALLATION .

  7. Install the 3 fender screws and the 3 push pins in the right front wheel liner.
  8. Install the tire/wheel assembly.
