Sensor, Differential Pressure: Installation: Diesel
- If removed, install the differential pressure sensor tubing (6) into the Diesel Particulate Filter (4). Tighten the fittings to 30 N.m (22 ft. lbs.).
- If necessary, install the mounting bolts (4) securing the differential pressure sensor tubing to transmission and securely tighten.
- Connect the differential pressure sensor hoses (1).
- Install the differential pressure sensor and bracket assembly (5). Tighten the bolt (3) to 18 N.m (13 ft. lbs.).NOTE:
Before installing, inspect both pressure hoses and make sure there is not any dip across the hoses. In cases where water is frozen, a dip across the hoses can cause condensation which can set a MIL.
- Connect the differential pressure sensor wire harness connector (2).
- Attach the exhaust gas temperature sensors wire harness connectors (4, 6) and wire harness retainer (1) to the bracket (5).
- Install the transmission skid plate. Refer to PLATE, SKID, TRANSMISSION .
- Remove the support and lower the vehicle.
- Connect the negative battery cable.
