Fan, Cooling: Installation: 2.4L

  1. Install the cooling fan (2) and securely tighten the bolts (1).

  2. Install the upper radiator hose (1).

  3. Install the upper core support and tighten the six bolts (1) to the proper torque specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS - 2.4L  .

  4. Install the upper radiator panel (2) and securely tighten the screws (1).

  5. Install the wire harness (1) to the upper radiator panel (3) and connect the cooling fan wiring harness connector (2).
  6. Install the hood latch and cables. Refer to LATCH, HOOD, INSTALLATION .

  7. Install the air intake tube (1) and the two push-pins (2).

  8. Install the resonator (1) bolt (2), the two screws (3) and securely tighten.
  9. Install the pressurized coolant bottle. Refer to BOTTLE, PRESSURIZED COOLANT, INSTALLATION .
  10. Connect the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), connect the IBS connector to the negative battery cable.
