Radiator, Engine Cooling: Installation: 2.4L

1. Install the radiator (2) into the lower mounts and engage the upper radiator isolators (1) to the mount.

2. Install the upper right side radiator mount cover (4) and securely tighten the bolts (3).
3. Install the upper left side radiator mount cover (2) and securely tighten the bolts (1).

4. Install the A/C condenser (1) to the radiator and securely tighten the three bolts (2).

5. Install the nut (2) securing the A/C discharge and liquid line junction block to the bracket (1) and securely tighten.

6. Install the service port bracket bolt (1) and securely tighten.

7. Install the left side upper air deflector (2) and the push-pin (1).

8. Install the right side upper air deflector (2) and the push-pin (1).

9. Install the transmission cooler and tighten the bolt (1) to the proper torque specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS - 2.4L  .

10. Install the ambient air temperature sensor (1) and the push-pin retainer.
11. Connect the ambient air temperature sensor wire harness connector (2).
12. Install the cooling fan. Refer to FAN, COOLING, INSTALLATION .

13. Install the lower radiator hose (1) and connect the quick-coupling.

14. Install the bolts (2) securing the lower radiator hose and tighten to the proper torque specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS - 2.4L  .
15. Fill the cooling system. Refer to COOLING - STANDARD PROCEDURE .
16. Connect the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), connect the IBS connector to the negative battery cable.
17. Run the engine until it reaches normal operating temperature. Check cooling system for correct fluid level. Refer to COOLING - STANDARD PROCEDURE .
