Time Lag Test
- Engine coolant and transaxle fluid must be at proper levels and normal operating temperature. Block wheels, apply parking and service brake firmly. Start engine, and ensure idle RPM is within specification. Refer to underhood emissions label.
- Shift from "N" to "D" position while measuring elapsed time until transaxle engages in gear. Run engine in with transaxle in Neutral for one minute to cool transaxle. Repeat procedure shifting from "N" to "R" position.
- Repeat 3 times, and average results. See TIME LAG
