Bench Testing: Rotor

Using ohmmeter, measure resistance between slip rings. If resistance is not 3.1 ohms, replace rotor. Check for continuity between slip ring and core. If continuity exists, replace rotor. If slip ring surface is rough, smooth using a lathe or fine sandpaper.
