Caster Adjustment: Inspection

  1. Position the vehicle so that the front wheel is on the turning-radius gauge. Remove wheel cover. Attach the standard caster gauge to the hub and measure the caster. See Figure.
  2. Compare measurements with manufacturer's specifications. See WHEEL ALIGNMENT SPECIFICATIONStable. If measurements are within specification, no adjustment is necessary. If measurements are not within specification, see ADJUSTMENT PROCEDURE .
