Vehicle Speed Sensor

Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS) is built-in speedometer gear assembly. VSS uses a reed switch to sense speedometer gear revolutions from the transaxle/transmission. VSS converts transaxle/transmission gear revolutions into pulse signals which are sent to the ECM. On all models, VSS sensor is located on rear of transaxle housing.
