Front Stabilizer Bar: Installation

  1. Align the stabilizer bushing with the clamp on the stabilizer bar. Locate the bushing adjacent to the position line on stabilizer bar.
  2. Position stabilizer behind subframe.
  3. Raise the subframe into place and tighten six mounting bolts to specified torque.

    Tightening torque: 69~86 lb.ft (93~117 N.m, 9.5~11.9 kg.m) 

  4. Tighten the two stabilizer bracket bolts.

    Tightening torque: 32~40 lb.ft (43~54 N.m, 4.4~5.5 kg.m) 

  5. Install the stabilizer bar to the stabilizer control link.

    Tightening torque: 32~45 lb.ft (43~61 N.m, 4.4~6.2 kg.m) 

    NOTE:
    1. Tighten the two control-link nuts to specified torque before lowering vehicle (unload condition).
    2. Check caster and camber. See SPECIFICATIONS & PROCEDURES .
