Strut Assembly: Installation

  1. Place the shock absorber and tighten the four flange nuts.

    Tightening torque: 27~38 lb.ft (37~52 N.m, 3.8~5.3 kg.m) 

  2. Tighten the two flange bolts.

    Tightening torque: 69~86 lb.ft (93~117 N.m, 9.5~11.9 kg.m) 

  3. Install the control link to the shock absorber.

    Tightening torque: 32~45 lb.ft (43~61 N.m, 4.4~6.2 kg.m) 

  4. Connect front flexible hose to the bracket.
  5. Install the wheel and tire.
  6. Lower vehicle and recheck caster, camber. Readjust if necessary. See SPECIFICATIONS & PROCEDURES .
