Rear Strut Assembly: Installation

  1. Place the shock absorber and tighten three flange nuts upside.

    Tightening torque: 16~22 lb.ft (23~29 N.m, 2.3~3.0 kg.m) 

  2. Install the rear shock absorber to the knuckle and tighten two flange nuts and bolts.

    Tightening torque: 69~86 lb.ft (93~117 N.m, 9.5~11.9 kg.m) 

  3. Install the control link to the stabilizer bracket.

    Tightening torque: 32~45 lb.ft (43~61 N.m, 4.4~6.2 kg.m) 

  4. Connect rear flexible hose to the bracket and insert clip.
  5. Install the rear tire and wheel.
  6. Lower vehicle and recheck caster. See SPECIFICATIONS & PROCEDURES .
