Test Procedures
- Check the engine oil level. Replenish if necessary.
- Warm it up until ATF reaches 70~80°C(158~176°F) after approximately 10 minutes of driving. Replenish if necessary.NOTE: When ambient temperature is 20°C(68°F), fluid temperature reaches 70~80°C(158~176°F) after approximately 10 minutes of urban driving.
- Securely engage the parking brake so that the tires do not turn.
- Start the engine. Depress the foot brake. Move the select lever to "D" range.
- Gradually depress the accelerator pedal while depressing the foot brake.
- Quickly read the stall speed. And quickly remove the feet from accelerator pedal.CAUTION: Do not depress the accelerator pedal for more than 5 seconds during test.
- Move the select lever to "N" range.
- Cool down the ATF.CAUTION: Run the engine at idle for at least 1 minute.
* During 3.5 Idle :
N range-800rpm(A/CON OFF)
Others-900rpm(A/CON ON)
D range-750rpm(A/CON OFF)
Others-750rpm(A/CON ON)
* During SALL :
D range-2300rpm(A/CON OFF)
