Test Procedures
- Check the engine fluid level. Replenish if necessary.
- Warm it up until ATF reaches 70~80°C(158~168°F) after approximately 10 minutes of driving to check the ATF level.NOTE: When ambient temperature is 20° C(68° F), fluid temperature reaches 70~80° C(158~176° F) after approximately 10 minutes of urban driving.
- Remove fluid pressure detection plug after warming up A/T, install fluid pressure gauge (special tool: ST2505 S001).CAUTION: When using the fluid pressure gauge, use O-ring that is installed to the fluid pressure detection plug.
- Securely engage the parking brake so that the tires do not turn.
- Start the engine and measure line pressure during idle rotation and stall speed.CAUTION:
- Shall be depressing the brake pedal all the way during measurement.
- When measuring line pressure with stall speed, refer to STALL TEST .
- After completing measurement, install fluid pressure detection plug and tighten to the following specified torque.
Tightening torque : 4.8~9.8N.m(50~70kg.cm, 3.6~5.0lb.ft)
CAUTION: Do not reuse O-ring.
