Shift Lever: Inspection

  1. Adjusting method for T/M control cable
    1. Set room side lever and T/M side lever to "N" position.
    2. Connect room side lever and shift cable.
    3. Connect T/M side lever (A) to cable in the following order.
      1. Push cable (B) lightly in direction of arrow shown in illustration to eliminate FREE PLAY of cable.
      2. Tighten adjusting nut (C).

    4. After adjusting according to (2)-(4), verify that A/T shift lever can be properly moved to each gear position.
