Ignition System: Removal

  1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
  2. Remove the crash pad lower panel (A). (Refer to the CRASH PAD ).

  3. Remove the screws (2EA) and trip switch connector. Then remove the cluster fascia panel (A).

  4. Remove the shroud (A) after removing the fixed screws (3EA).

  5. Remove the door warning switch and key illumination lamp (A) after loosening the screw and disconnecting the 6P connector.

  6. If it is necessary to remove the key lock cylinder (B), Remove the key lock cylinder after pushing lock pin (A) with key ACC.
