Repair procedures: Inspection

  1. Connect a scantool on the Data Link Connector (DLC).
  2. Turn the ignition switch ON.
  3. Measure the output voltage of the APS 1 and 2 at C.T and W.O.T. Refer to "SPECIFICATION ".
  4. Turn ignition switch OFF and disconnect the scantool from the DLC.
  5. Disconnect APS connector.
  6. Measure resistance between the APS terminals 4 and 5 (APS 1). Refer to "SPECIFICATION ".
  7. Measure resistance between the APS terminals 1 and 6 (APS 2). Refer to "SPECIFICATION ".
