Repair Procedures: Installation

NOTE:
  • Install the component with the specified torques.
  • Note that internal damage may occur when the component is dropped. If the component has been dropped, inspect before installing.
NOTE: The VCM actuator has to be installed at the fully closing position of the VCM valve.

If it doesn't, the VCM coupling of the VCM shaft can't be put in the VCM actuator.

  1. Installation is reverse of removal.
  2. Variable Charge Motion Actuator installation bolt: 

    8.0 ~ 11.0 N.m (0.8 ~ 1.1 kgf.m, 5.9 ~ 8.1 lb-ft)
