Repair Procedure: Removal

  1. Turn the ignition switch off and disconnect the battery negative (-) Terminal.
  2. Remove the glove box housing.

    (Refer to Body - "GLOVE BOX HOUSING ")

  3. Remove the AVM unit.

    (Refer to the appropriate service information below.

  4. Disconnect the IDB connector (A).
  5. Remove the IDB (B) after looening the mounting bolt and nuts.

    IDB Mounting Bolt/Nut: 

    9.8 ~ 11.8 N.m (1.0 ~ 1.2 kgf.m, 7.2 ~ 8.7 lb-ft)
