Repair Procedures: Removal

  1. Switch "OFF" the ignition and disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
  2. Remove the air cleaner assembly.

    (Refer to Engine Mechanical System - " AIR CLEANER  ") 

  3. Disconnect the EEGR valve connector (A).

  4. EGR cooler pipe.

    (Refer to Engine Mechanical System - " EGR COOLER  ") 

  5. Remove the EEGR valve (B) after loosening the mounting bolts and nuts (A).
