Repair Procedures: Inspection: Removal

  1. Turn the ignition switch OFF and disconnect the battery negative (-) terminal.
  2. Remove the air cleaner assemble.

    (Refer to Engine Mechanical System - " AIR CLEANER  ") 

  3. Disconnect the ETC module connector (A).
  4. Disconnect the coolant hoses (B) and vapor hose (C).
  5. Remove the mounting bolts (D), and then remove the ETC module from the engine.
