Repair Procedures: Removal

  1. Shift the gear to "N" range and turn ignition OFF.
  2. Disconnect the battery negative (-) cable.
  3. Remove the electronic shift actuator.

    (Refer to Automatic Transaxle Control System - "ELECTRONIC SHIFT ACTUATOR ")

  4. After disconnecting the connector, remove the position sensor (A) by loosening the bolts.
