Toe adjustment
- Front toe should be adjusted according to thrust angle after adjusting rear toe completely.
(Refer to Rear Suspension System - "REAR ALIGNMENT ")
- Loosen the tie rod end lock nut.
- Remove the bellows clip to prevent the bellows from being twisted.
- Adjust the toe by screwing or unscrewing the tie rod. Toe adjustment should be made by turning the right and left tie rods by the same amount.
Toe-in
Total: 0.20° ± 0.2°
Individual: 0.10° ± 0.1°
NOTE:- Make sure that each toe value remains within ±0.1° of the other. If the difference in the toe value between the right and left wheel exceeds ±0.2°, re-adjust the toe accordingly.
- After adjusting the toe, apply the standard torque to tighten the tie rod adjustment nut (A).
- Rotate the tie rod buckle to adjust the toe. Turn the tie rod towards the rear of the vehicle to reduce the toe of the left front wheel. Be sure to make equal adjustments to the toe on both the right and left wheels by turning the tie rod.
- When completing the toe adjustment, install the bellows clip and tighten the tie rod end lock nut to specified torque.
