Repair Procedures: Installation
NOTE:
- Install the component to the specified torque.
- Note that internal damage may occur if the component drops. In this case, use it after inspecting.
- When installing a power pack, install it after checking the coupling (A).
- When attaching the power pack to the MDPS, attach the power pack in accordance with the guide line as follows.
- Install in the reverse order of removal.
- Perform the "MDPS TUNING DATA SETTING " by KDS.
(Refer to " DIAGNOSIS WITH KDS ")
- Perform the "SAS CALIBRATION " by KDS.
(Refer to " DIAGNOSIS WITH KDS ")
- Check and erase the DTC.NOTE:
- Check if there is any DTC code found before DTC erase.
- Replace the parts by MDPS Power Pack unit.
(Never detach the ECU and motor.) - Perform the MDPS performance test.
