Repair Procedures: Inspection

Information 

Transfer oil should be inspected and refilled every 60000 km (40000 mile)/4 year.

1. Remove the under cover.

   G 1.6 T-GDI GAMMA  (Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "ENGINE ROOM UNDER COVER ")

   G 2.0 MPI NU  (Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "ENGINE ROOM UNDER COVER ")

2. Remove the oil filler plug (A).

3. Check the oil level.
4. Oil level must be up to fill the hole, if not, add oil until it runs over.

   Specification: 

   Hypoid gear oil API GL-5, SAE 75W/85 (SK HCT-5 75W/85 or equivalent)

5. Install the oil filler plug (A).

   Tightening torque: 

   39.2 - 58.8 N.m (4.0 - 6.0 kgf.m, 28.9 - 43.4 lb-ft)

   NOTE: Do not reuse the used filler plug gasket.
